01.04.07 Boca nightsXL DJ compilation released in Greece and Cyprus through Sony/BMG featuring last Hoboken single Beauty Queen. The video was created by visual maestro, mash-up artist and good friend, James Gibson AKA Thriftshop XL. 20.02.07 Beauty Queen will appear on compilation album Boca XL nights through SonyBMG in Greece and Cyprus. Boca XL is one of the major clubs in Athens. Hoboken will share the CD space with Elvis and Mrs Britney Spears! Beauty Queen makes top40 (in the PopJustice music chart). 19.01.06 Swedish live date just announced...Hoboken play their first gig of 2006 in Gothenburg! 17.01.06 Thanks to all those who bought the Beauty Queen single last week - unfortunately we missed out on the TOP 40 so TOTP's will need to wait once more. We did however make it to number two in the 7digital download chart! Single review posted on Playlouder. It's listed in the 45's section. For those who haven't yet got their copy here is another way you can obtain one - a competition is running on The Human League Secrets page to win signed copies. Some pictures of the Human League have been added to the tour pictures section. Check back for a video clip of the Usher Hall show next week. Also coming soon is a video/music mash by our visual artist friend James Gibson, AKA ThriftshopXL, which combines our second single Vainglorious with a famous Eurythmics track. We'll give you a clue...the result is called Vainglorious Dreams!
01.01.06 First off, big thanks to all who came to see us on The Human League tour. We all had a fantastic time and were made very much at home among the band and crew. We would personally like to thank everyone involved and wish you all a very Happy New Year! Some pictures from our travels can be viewed here. More pictures and even some video clips will be added over the coming weeks so check back soon. For those who have been following us for a while you will have noticed a new face behind the drums - a certain Ric Chandler - octopus, international prankster and all round top fella! We hope to be working with him again in the future. Couple of live reviews for you too - Glasgow and London. 2006 gets us off to a bang with the release of Beauty Queen on Monday January 9th. To date it has been picking up regional radio play and receiving positive reviews. We have national retail and digital distribution on this one so for those who still prefer their music in hardware format it can be bought from all Virgin Megastores, while those who prefer downloading can purchase the tracks from all major on-line outlets including: We are hoping this single could get us our first chart placing so please help us put electro pop back in the charts!
