Beauty Queen single delayed!

Due to our upcoming tour with the Human League, the powers at be have decided to postpone the release of the new single, Beauty Queen, until January 9th, 2006. We know it's been put back a few times already and we're really sorry you won't have it before Christmas! In the meantime you can still watch the video or catch one of the shows!

Beauty Queen release date - 14th November 2005. Within a few weeks we'll know all locations where you can buy the single - both on line and high street. In an effort to dent the top 75 we urge you to go and buy it during the first week and help make Hoboken an official chart act! Tell your friends to buy it too - even if they don't want to. :)

Hoboken have completed a remix for French electro act Nouvelle Coulture. Listen to the track in the cabaret electronique section of their website and read more about their Fading Pictures album.

Forthcoming single Beauty Queen gets first national airplay on Jane Gazzo's BBC6 music show. For those without a digital radio you can listen to the show (and previous shows) online.

More UK live dates in September announced.

The Beauty Queen single, including promo video by ThriftshopXL will be released on November 7th 2005. In the meantime you can catch a piece of the Thriftshop pop genius at this months end of the month club and at CLUB GYBO - Glasgow, 8th September, Barfly! See you there.

Work on the second album continues.

Last weekend the band shot the promo video for Beauty Queen with director and mash up video/music artist James Gibson (AKA Thriftshop XL). We would like to thank again everyone involved in the filming. The video will appear as part of the Beauty Queen release now re-scheduled for September 05 05.

In-between video shoots the band continue holed up in their studio writing of the follow-up album to last years Crazy Glue.

To coincide with the Beauty Queen release the band will play live again in September. A couple of dates have been confirmed already - check out live for details.

Hoboken were voted fourth in the best Newcomer award category in the Jockrock music awards.
